If youre coming up from newcastle area i wouldnt be heading to glasgow.
I'd be going up the a1, edinburgh bypass, head up to the m9 to stirling, callander, crainlarich. Nicer and quieter drive imho.

That is basically the way we are going minus all the way up the A1. Going to nip off and up the A696 Coldstream road.

Great rd the coldstream one. new speed camera about 5 mile from carfraemill, and the burnt out ones on a68 have all been replaced, so watch out.

We are heading North, but from the West side of the Country, up the M6, M74.
If anyone is travelling up our side of the country we intend to pass Forton Services on the M6 at about 11 ish Friday morning.

South of the mill on the 697, after the kelso turn off if your coming from the south n/b carraigeway.
Was having a wee tour around greenlaw and duns last weekend when i saw it, hadnt noticed it before so it might have been there for ages.

After speaking with the Dixster, we are going to set off at 11 o'clock in the morning. Jeff thinks this will be better as it enables him to have a few more daylight drinking hours, as once it gets dark he will be hiding under his bed.
