Window switches 350i

Hi all

The centre (Behind the handbrake) console mounted window switches are missing from my 350i FHC. Does anyone know what they came off? The slots seem to small to use the same switches as used in my 350i DHC which are mounted either Ade of the Stereo.

Looking at the drawing the switches should be 8 pin. There are some Ford? Looking 5 pins in the boot but I would prefer to find originals.

Any ideas?

The switches are Lucas 182SA series, as used on the Princess and TR7 IIRC. There are a few variants though: on some the ends of the rocker are ribbed, on some they are smooth and some have the switch logo on that end rather than on the illuminated window.

My 280 fhc has the switches in the same place. from memory they are 5 pin and noticeably smaller than dash switches. dont know about lucas no. tho, the best i could se are these on the bay

i searched for the triumph ones as well but they appeared bigger. no neasurements given on either.
I could do with some new ones as well come to think of it, so if anyone has a source....

I've been saved buy a forum member who has a few spare bits left over.

I'm sure the slots for the switches are smaller than the Lucas switches but I'll sort it out as at least the have the same amount of pins as I have wires
