Can you get Mintex 1144's for a 400se??

If yes does anyone know where??

If no what say all?? EBC do Greenstuff and Redstuff options and I have heard about DS2500's. Anyone any experience/best sources??

Car is mainly road use with the odd track day

Had EBC greenstuff when I bought the car many years ago and replaced with the same, as the brakes and disks are not standard, bit like the car wink I have to say they stop well, and that is what matters, mine came from performance parts, who were very helpfully taking into account I had to return two sets as we could not identify the right shape pads!

I did used to run 1144s on my 350 and don't remember being ovey impressed. Have run DS2000 , 3000 and now 2500 all round on the 400 and will stick with them. In fact I've just bought a new set for the front. Car is used on the road with 1 track day a year and these pads suit that. Not cheap though- £145 for the fronts. Can post supplier and part numbers when I get home later.

I do run Mintex 1144's on the 400SX (same thing really except...) I've been running them for years now across 350i's and the 400.

I managed to pick up a rear set recently on eBay for 16 quid! They are still up there item 121025399650.

For the fronts if you have the AP 4-pot calipers you need MLB52's see item 270879194938, price not too bad.

Ive been running Mintex 1144 all round for a number of years and used them hard but havent tried different pads so i cant compare what other pads are like but i was told the EBC pads are hard and eat disks

I took a pad into the local motor factors and they checked the shape of the pad with a book with full size pics to get the correct pad
