Decisions have been made

Through the TVR ownership have had a few goals many very optimistic. First was to sell the wedge and get a Tamora (pipe dream never would sell the wedge). Last year i thought of upgrading to a 390se(love me oldd motor too much to sell). Then i thought spend loads on the wedge through sensible upgrades, ie brakes, cooling, suspension, make under the bonnet look nice, interior etc and get all the little jobs sorted. Well now all thats done i have made my mind up. After loads of deliberation and hearing/following/falling in love with the sound of tasmindevils 500 i have decided to and i think this is right, transplant a 5 litre into the wedge making it the first 500 Tasmin/series 1 wedge. Has anyone heard of this done before?

Oooh sounds like a good idea Dix, its hard to think of what to change to when you have a wedge you realy like so the next best option is to upgrade

Are you thinking of a rebuilt engine or some thing from a damaged motor, are you going down the same route as Carob with mega squit and to finnish it off a barking exhaust

Blimey Dix you won the lottery?....What you going to go for a Griff lump or a secondhand 5.0ltr RV8 and have a Taraka upgrade from TVR power..Or maybe a small block chevy....You could always add a sprintex 5th gen blower and a tad of NOS....For double..

Jeff if it's something you need to do [5LTR V8 looovely]then go for it bud, can just see you and Hamish racing each other with Rob tail gating both of you because he'll tan your arses anyway,lol, then you'll need to phone home because Hamish will get you lost [again].
