It's not going to do much for 200 prices frown
and as for the statement about the M being an evolution of the Grantura....I think I few people will have something to say about that.

Looks to be largely composed of folklore and what others have written anyway. I wouldn't worry about 200 values (I don't suppose you are biggrin), I shouldn't think many people are really going to suddenly fancy buying a Wedge on the strength of one article.

A really good article, I've printed it so I can keep a copy with the car.

I think the M and S are heroic too.

I don't think the artical will make a difference to the price, what it says could be true,
There are very few if theses cars left.. It only takes a higher percentage to want one, and the balance if supply and demand is tipped!

Or maybe I'm just dreaming again! 😊

When i bought my Wedge i didn't buy it because i thought i will make a profit..In fact its cost me more than it would probably be worth in 20 years time!..And I'm still spending out on it…But if i count up all the money i have spent on just keeping shyte cars on the road over the last 25 years then weigh it up against the fun factor..Well there is no comparison as Delilah wins every time..When i get behind the wheel nothing seems to matter much, If I'm stressed..peed off…Feeling a bit lonely or just suffering from cabin fever then a drive in the Wedge is all i need..

I do get people asking how much its worth but all i say is.."Its what its worth to me that matters"..Simples..

They command a certain type of owner..Even if they are slightly mad…But in general they are all good people who will help with most things when asked and always have something positive to say even about a beaten up scruffy tired old wedge..Totally cool…Cheers..Ziga

Very true, you see the 10%-ers come and go, those who just don't have the right stuff to be a long-term Wedger biggrin

I really couldn't agree more....

So many people are obsessed with values, making a profit, or so called recession proof motoring, yes, great if it happens, but for me the pleasure of classic motoring is the fact I can now drive cars I could only dream of when that were new, plus of course the nostalgia, additionally the wedge has further charms to enjoy smile

A car is worth in money terms whatever a buyer will pay for it, but for personal and enjoyment value, priceless smile

If I ever sell my wedge, I will have enjoyed it, okay if I can get my money back, or even eek a little profit, great, that's a bonus, but I won't be too heartbroken if I lose out, I've experienced the experience smile

If you consider that there were about 2500 (or is it 2700?) Wedges built, and say each one has had an average of ten owners, that's still only the population of a small market town that has ever driven one biggrin

Funny how so many people are experts in how bad TVRs supposedly are, isn't it rolleyes

I do agree.. But I have to be honest.. It frustrates me that such powerful great looking car isn't worth more.
Of coarse the thrill of owning one is fantastic.
But lesser cars that are more in abundance command more money and it just doesn't seem right.
I would simply like the price to reflect how great the car is.
Sorry to be a money man.. It doesn't mean I don't get the thrill smile

Yeah... Yer not Wrong Zig.., if they weren't the price they are, we wouldn't have one.

I do get it, I took it out for a quick spin last night, what awesome thing it is.
I'm going towards getting it looking great.
Should my income support it!
I know I go from one thing to the other.
But morning would make me happier than get the beast lookin new again!
