My wheels do look nice but on close inspection maybe would benefit from refurb as the rims are not lacquered and go off very quickly plus the gold centres whilst good could be better.

I quite fancy the idea of going 16" with lower profile to modernise the look a bit plus I think the Lenso BSX with gold centres look really nice.

Has anyone fitted any to a wedge?

Had a quick google and they look good. What width are you thinking to buy and which tyre sizes?

Dunno about tyre sizes - I'm on 225/50 @ 15" stock So I guess that would be 225/45 @ 16" or there abouts.

Standard Wheels

Mock up 16" Lensos

Mock up 17" Lensos

Hmmm...not sure if it looks best on original rims now!

"Yo wussup ma homeboy"..Looks proper pimp mate…They look okay but i prefer the originals…The rims are best without lacquer as alloy will tarnish regardless of how quick they are lacquered after polishing, There are numerous product but you can't beat WD40..I think another good product is AFT..Which is for motorcycles and helps protect the alloy casing from weathering…You have just reminded me, I need to re-polish my rims and protect them after with some WD…Lepsons in gillingham are good if not one of the best wheel refurbers…..When are you going to send me a pic for the Calendar? smile…Cheers..Ziga

When I went to 9 x 16 rims, I wanted to keep the same size tyre front and rear, and didn't want to throw the gearing out too far, so did indeed go 225 x 45 x 16, rather than 245s that some fit to the 16s.

I like the 16's.

I have seen a SEAC on 17's and I liked it as well but they did look a fraction to big for the era of the car imo

Here's mine on 245/40 x16 rear and 225/45 x16 front. Wheels are OZ and I've seen them on a few wedges. Give it a nice aggressive stance.
