I know it's sad and wrong but if you look closely at the little floosey by the drivers door, her open stance reveals what would appear to be a moist patch, although I suspect it's just that she peed herself laughing at old one glove.

Could just be condensation..Girls of that period...…Wait let me re-phrase that..Girls from that era were a bit more fluffy in the forestry commission department..Perhaps the driver is wearing one glove so that he can have a rummage in the bushes to see if he can pick a flower..And come to think about it..(Not literally) it does look like a gardening glove..
