This should be a straight forward job to change
But

How do I get it out?
Had a look this morning can't get a spanner on it nor a deep socket.
Do I Need to remove the thermo sensor first?
or do you guys know of a simple trick to removal?

I can usually get a spanner on it without removing the other one but agreed it's easier if you do. Possibly a ring spanner.

I ground the jaws of an open ended spanner down so it fits.

Works fine providing you haven't got the new one from Rimmer Bros, as the buggers don't tighten up.

Cheers guys I'LL get it sorted at the weekend

Yes Steve I did get the new one from Rimmers but after reading about the plastic nut not tightening I bought another from Auto Electrical Spares which looks good and solid.

Engine cold and take off the pressure cap first so it doesn't spurt out the 'ole when you take it off.

lol, that's the same one that Rimmers sold me (incorrect plastic nut one) too but unfortunately I cannot send it back as I mashed it up a bit !!!!
