Hi Peeps..I noticed that Delilahs hand brake was leaning towards me a bit so i lifted up the gaiter and where the bolt that holds the lever on sits there is a split in the housing above the bolt, If that makes sense...I checked in the bible and it show's an exploded view of the hand brake assembly and i can see a couple of screws holding it in place but if i remove it will it be a bugger to fit back?..It will need to be flattened and welded somehow..Im going to the ford garage tuesday so i can remove it then and weld it..If its a simply job...Cheers..Ziga

hehe…She knows that if she starts playing up then she is out the door!..I guess the handbrake symbolises that she wants me to hold on to her..She forgets..I live on a hill...evil

Quite often the handbrake lever can bend over if pulled a bit hard - the bracket itself bends. Just bend it back - and adjust the calipers so you don't have to pull it so hard - job done!

Thanks for that Adam but the actual plate that the hand brake lever is attached to has snapped..Its the plate to the left of the lever..Not the rectangle part…Cheers…Ziga
