Looks nice, recent recommission, needs a little fettling....

Interestingly an Essex 3.0 V6 has replaced the Cologne 2.8i engine....

TBH AFAIK it's a better engine - siamesing the ports on the cologne wasn't the brightest move!

Thought for a second that someone was using mine for the picture. The main thing is that it's the right colour....but then I would say that!!

I personally have no idea, but I have a Capri enthusiast friend who favours the 3.0 Essex

Does that therefore mean this wedge could be fitted with a Yank Ford V8? wink

Essex V6 is a HEAVY old lump, but they're very strong. They can be tuned to make an awful lot of power.
I know someone with a historic touring car Capri with a very expensive Essex V6 making 380BHP!
