It is with much sadness and frustration I am considering selling my 350i FHC project.

I bought this car a few months ago with a family member and a friend as a bit of fun. Needless to say as is usually the way with joint projects. One member of the team seems to have all the enthusiasm and has ended up doing all of the work so far. Guess who?

So to keep thinks clean and freindly rather than buy them out and carry on alone. I am thinking about selling it and maybe starting again with a one man project.

It's a nice car needs a bit of finishing but the brakes are sorted or will be after I refitt the returned rear calipers tomorrow. It need the bonnet painting the interior sorting and a load of electricals, gauges etc sorting. chassis solid, wheels refurbed new tyres. All original glass.

I'll list on PH classifieds if I do decide to sell. Just though I'd mention it I case anyone is looking for an interesting project.

Karl

Where did you get your calipers refurbed? I took mine off at the weekend and they will need a good going over.

Did them myself this time mate. The pistons were good so I just got a replacement seal kit and link pipes.

If you want them completely done for you I use Big Red when I did my 350i DHC and was very pleased with the results. I thin Ward Engineering do them even cheaper and also offer refurb handbrake calipers at a fair price.

Karl.

Sorry Guys I've been away with work in that big bad London. How some of you guy live and drive there is beyond my comprehension.

Anyway all questions now answered I think.
