Hi Peeps…Well i thought it would be a good idea to do what i normally do to any newly acquired car and that is to replace the serviceable's..So i ordered.. Plugs..Air filter..New rubber rocker cover gaskets…Rotor arm and as a treat i bought a wooden gear knob..

The air filter is what i ordered..The rotor arm is a lucas but the rocker cover gasket is nothing like i ordered as it was ribbed and had the metal eyelets..This isn't what i ordered!

Then i saw the state of the gear knob..What are people like…Its going back!…Bloody liberty..

Later rocker cover gaskets are rubber... and are better for it.

Right fitted the plugs and rotor arm and sorted out a couple of split hoses on the vacuum side of the plenum..Went to fit the air filter but its too small..I couldn't find a E2029 so ordered what was listed for a Land Rover/Range Rover V8..Apparently there is no listing anymore for that part number…But there is a listing for a TVR 3000M 3.5L which is E-9029..Can anyone confirm the size please or i will take off the other one agin just to measure..Which i should of done earlier..banghead…Cheers…Ziga

Part E-9029 Product Specifications
Product Style: Round Air Filter
Height: 5.875 in (149 mm)
Inner Wire: No
Inside Diameter: 4.5 in (114 mm)
Outside Diameter: 5.875 in (149 mm)

PS: Forgot to say that she is running like a dream..There was a bit of a tiny lumpy idle now and again but now its really smooth.
