Enjoy Marcus and all the best mate, I am having a dry one. Tony going to run down the coast to Seaton Carew for around 1 'o' clock. Flask of tea for a quick brew in the car park on the sea front.

You up for it?

Weather permitting.

Hi Rob
thanks for the invite to Seaton Carew today, enjoyed the drive if not the weather and can recommend the Fish And Chips there, some of the best we've had and Tom is an expert.
Thanks for posting the pics
Enjoy the rest of the day

I believe the event was banned after the Dept. of Transport ruled that the local council did not have the authority to close the road... this was several years ago, I've never heard anything to suggest it was reinstated.

If I'd known you were down this way Rob I'd have got up a bit earlier and come along for a brew biggrin

Was due to run 2013 (last year!) but cancelled due to rain and subsidence before the event, I even had a room booked above a very salubrious boozer not too far away from the event. The climb is on the Queen's Highway so can be driven upon.

Ian, didn't think you would be about mate. Could be a run out Friday I think.

Interesting on the Hill Climb, I will watch out for it this year.
