Have you tried getting a wedge on them as they look a bit steep..Are you sure that the spoiler clears the start of the ramps?....

Whats the process of using them?

Do you just reverse onto them , go past the centre of balance and i drops? Sounds a bit hairy?

Mr Negative here wink

Apart from perhaps waving a pressure washer around what could you actually do under a car at that height? Obviously too low to stand under but too high to reach anything lying on a crawler board, weight still on wheels so no good for work on brakes/suspension etc?

500 quid buys a good trolley jack and four stands!

Theres a BMW garage not far from me and they use them for displaying their cars, I think they back onto them slowly until they reach the balance point then once its up they add the vertical ladder chock support to hold it in place, didn't gog build something similar out of 4" x 2" timber? Looked hellishly long but probably worked, errmm is he still alive? I hope so.

They are a great idea, just a bit of angle iron and a mig welder required . l suppose if you used tread plate between the wheels it would support a Jack to get the wheels off too, maybe?!!!!!

Here is a home made ramp and only cost £30. Living on a hill has it's advantages and before anyone gets worried, no it's not on a breeze block, it's a solid concrete block and the whole thing is bullet proof, even the wood.

I had a name change lol

I havent built any ramps though, I bought a nice low entry trolley jack and I have some nice tall axle stands to get underneath

I think that might of been the chap called WCA who had the red wedge that he was going to chop up for the scimitar based kit...Ziga
