Morning all.

I am going to remove the dash panel and centre piece. Any tips for removing these on a 400se.

2 screws under the center console, remove the wood & steel backing plate to get access to the mess that is behind.IIRC 2 bolts under passenger side, and 2 bolts driver side.

if you open the doors the end of the dash has a cap both sides there is a bolt under the cap with a metal bar holding the sides of the dash and there is a 6mm nut both sides they are right up at high level under the dash they are hard to get to. when i removed my dash center console on the 400 i also undone the hand brake cable on the rear brakes then you can pull the hand brake lever right up facing at 90 degrees gives a bit more movement of the center console also drop the steering column

Have a care with the wiring, disturbing it after all these years = problems, probably.
