Less than immaculate SEAC ......

I'm not the sort to wrap a car in cotton wool but ..... waited until the roads were dry this afternoon (as car was in pristine condition) and within 30 seconds of leaving home I met a van coming the opposite direction at close quarters at a point in the road where there was mud and gravel following the heavy rain....

many stonechips and several small chunks out of the spoiler..
after stopping to check the damage a few minutes later I clipped the front corner/spoiler on a rock/boulder whilst reversing/turning mext to someones 'protected' driveway chipping off a chunk of kevlar...

Looking on the bright side at least it was on the front again....

Good on you for using it - that's what it was designed for!
You say you've chipped off a chunk on Kevlar; I very much doubt it, it's very tough stuff. It is, however, quite flexible so I suspect you've broken off a chunk of filler/paint on the surface - not so big a deal, but a bit of a pain!

Yes, if it's the white bit on the second 'photo that's just filler that's lost.shake n bake said:
I've heard of people winning a small claims case against those boulders in front of driveways, unless there is planning permission for them I believe they are illegal.
Yep me too, people who drop those lumps of rock outside their house are vindictive cheapskate's,they get a kick coz they caused some damage in the view the car shouldn't be on the verge, supposed to get council permission and erect posts to a certain height with reflectors and mounted at a pre determined distance from edge of road/kerb. That obviously too much work and expense for them.!Gassing Station | Wedges | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
