Seems a bit pointless on change.org - if you want it to come into effect start a petition on the number 10 website - when there are 100000+ then the government is obliged to act.

Hi Andy - the originator is not asking for a donation, however change.org rely on donations to continue their valuable work, so with every campaign they draw this to the user's attention. It is change.org that is seeking your support, not the originator of this particular campaign.

Im sure someone mentioned last year that the government need 100,000 signatures to enforce this and apparently there are just over 400,000 roadworthy classic vehicles in this country so even if you took away all the tax exempt cars there surely would be a valued point to this exercise, Its just getting all these people to sign it..All good in my eyes....Ziga

I signed this ages ago, it did the rounds from all the rally boys last year I think.

It would be nice to get free tax, It would stop me doing things like going on line to SORN my car until the better weather, then having a massive change of mind at the last second and taxing it again lol
