Hi Peeps...Whilst cleaning and spraying up the AFM i wondered if the gaskets that go between the plate and the AFM housing need sealant on them...If so is Blue hylomar ok...Cheers...Ziga

Not usually; I think the idea is that the compression on the air filter nuts is sufficient to make them seal.
Check your flap while you have it off; it should swing through the full arc with the same resistance throughout, no rubbing on the walls or 'catching' from the bearings.

Thanks mate...I did clean the inside..(Very carefully) a while back and put tiny amount of WD on the flaps pivot..I know i shouldn't have, The flap has smooth movement from closed to fully open.

The gaskets should be either side of the rectangular plate, IIRC...
