Hi All,
I think last night (spent a couple of hours in the dark with my cheap torch when I got home from work last night) I managed to trace my latest missfiring issue biggrin

There are a couple of splits in the fuel hose that goes from the filter to the copper fuel pipe, they must have got worse last night as I did not notice a fuel leak at the weekend !
Makes sense as my economy was very poor too.

The rubber fuel pipe extension needs replacing (fuel spurting out), a simple job I know, but can I just confirm that the main fuel pipe feed that runs parallel to the outrigger is indeed copper and that all I will need is replace about 1 foot worth of rubber fuel hose that connects from the fuel filter to the main fuel pipe ?
I ask as I did not get under the car last night.

Many Thanks

That's certainly the case on my car - copper apart from a few inches at each end in rubber.

Make sure it's unleaded rated and injection pressure rated hose or you will be back to square one pretty quickly.

Alright guys. Just jumping on this thread. Been meaning to change the fuel lines on my wedge for a while. I'm sure my lines are copper round the engine bay then rubber back to the tank, both feed and return.
Would anyone agree?

Yes - the 400SX (same body) is just like that. The copper bits last forever, it's just the rubber bits that need renewing.
