Had to take the wedge into work today. First a guy sits on my shoulder on a dual carraigeway matching my speed and blocking me going in behind, when eventually i do get in behind him he toddles along at 25!!
Then a boy in a silly little hatch uses a left turn only lane to undertake me, slows down speeds up etc, think he wanted a race or something.
Now i get that some folk want to hear or admire our motors but must they be sych tubes about it.
ah well, thats my gripe for the day.

I had a kid come up the side of me on Sunday in a VXR summat. His window was down big grins all round. Pointed to go, dropped one and away like a shot pulled back in a few mile up the road and he passed me thumbs up, big grin still in place. Few minutes later Pork 91-summat flies up behind me waving arms, flashing lights. Again dropped it one and never seen him again.

A couple of weeks a go I just nipped to the shop in mine, when I came out, two young boys where looking at it puzzled, as I was getting into the car with my mate who has popped over for the weekend and this was the first time he'd seen it I might add, the boys dad came over, they said Dad what's that!!? He replied, what that is, is if you work hard and your very lucky thats what you can have! I swear word for word! Of coarse a started it and gave them something to remember! Ha ha

Unfortunately there are some total tw@ts out there, I come across at least two a day which never used to happen in Delilah...But there also a lot more people who admire the Wedge...At the end of the day i didn't buy it to impress anyone...Enjoy...Ziga
Zig, everyone in your area had respect for Delilah. She was a well known part of the community. Poppy is still new, given time people will be bowing down as you drive by, until that happens start practising the Royal salute. Tony. TCB.
Had loads of good response to my Wedge and only 2 bad in about 10 years
The funniest was on the way to BTCC Touring Cars at Oulton Park last year
I passed a group of about 12 cyclists riding 2 and 3 abreast (as usual)
and making it difficult to pass them on a back road
so I purposely dropped it a cog and blasted past them all (safely!!) to show my disgust
A couple of miles further on and I was having to queue to get into the circuit and so they caught me up
A snotty older lady cyclist shouted "Your car is sooo noisy!!!"(complaining)
To which I sarcastically replied "Oh, Thank you!!!!"
The next rider past then shouted "Sounds GREAT, Mate!!!" and made my day again
Saw some good racing that day as well (with record crowds at Oulton)

I think Poppy is just too quiet....Tony. TCB.
I was sitting in traffic one day when a girl in the car sitting stationary on the other side of the road (next to her boyfriend) made very audible "when Harry met Sally" noises as she stared over. Not sure what my wife thought of that. Oh well, gave it a good rev as I pulled away just to finish her off, so to speak.

Mark ..... do not fit a straight thru box fella please...! I seem to remember I mentioned getting a small centre box from PipeCraft some time ago otherwise you will lose that V8 burble and just get noise that will require ear defenders 
For every one to**er out there I get 9 compliments so enjoy them and the TVR experience fella!
