Hi chaps, it's been a while since I was last in here..3 years!
Just looking into getting myself back in a Wedge, it's overdue. ;-)
My last Wedge was a 450 SEAC, and I see there's a 420 for sale on PH's, but I'm not sure I'm looking to spend quite that much..yet!

Anyway, just putting some feelers out there. If anyone is looking to sell their 400/450SE, mail me, I'm interested.:-)

My last old jalopy!

Hi Steve, been a while. wavey
Is this 420 different to the one advertised on here?
I would be happy with a nice 450 or 400 to be honest..quickly too, before I get tempted by a Chimaera!
Also, I just bought another Focus ST so that maybe rules out any £20k + Wedges/SEAC's. (Unless the owner of my old 450 SEAC gave me 1st refusal..should he sell?) wink

What car are you thrashing around in these days Steve? smile

Sorry to hear that.. I hope she gets better quickly.

The ST is a great (imo) car, I bought one new back in 2007, but sold it to buy the SEAC. As I never had it long, I bought another a few weeks ago. smile

I have a non resonated Cobra exhaust to fit now, let that 5 pot engine growl! You can tell I quite like it! wink

I love the orange of those ST's but went for a boring white... but being an RS it more than made up for it.

Good luck in your search for a wedge - they seem to come up for sale much less often these days.

I nearly went for an RS Alan but..at around £20 - £23k it wasn't worth it compared to getting a mint ST plus a Wedge...for the same money!!
The ST is fine for me as is, but the Cobra exhaust and Dream science kit transforms it. :-)

Thanks Steve, I loved the Electric Orange ST's when they first came out on '05..so had to have one. I think the colour still stands out today.
The engine in the ST & RS is based on the Volvo 2.5 Litre 5 cylinder Turbo, and has lots of character. Certainly makes a nice noise.
I almost went new with the latest ST but..they have resorted back to a 4 cylinder.. and sounds boring to me.
Sorry, going on a bit here. wink

I'll just keep an eye out, see what comes up. If people really aren't selling, then maybe it's time to scratch the Griff itch! Chimaera' no good, I had a 450 previously.

It will just be good to get back into any TVR to be honest. smile

Do you still have your SEAC Alan? Last time I saw it you had painted it in Gulf colours, have you changed this?
