350 handbrake handle

I had a spare lever off a scrapper. So I ground it down at the oval end then welded in some extra metal before grinding again to make it cylindrical. I was then able to fit one off a Griff or Chim. These are much easier to find.
It's not on the car yet but seems pretty strong so I have no concerns.
Might be an option if you can't find one to fit.

As the previous poster mentioned the handle itself is oval, so I'm having a slightly oversized internal diameter and a couple o grub screws added underneath to hold it secure

I've still got some ali ones left, but alas they do no fit the oval handle that well. But you could always try to fit a rounded handle from a later car 
Strange as both my 350's and 400 had round type handle, but they were all 1989 so maybe the earlier ones that have the oval type handle ?

My car had an alloy handbrake handle fitted when I bought it; the previous owner must have had shares in Demon Tweeks judging by all the receipts so maybe it came from there - sorry I can't be arsed to trawl through the box files again!
It also had a 'dome' gearknob but I found it too slippery so I swapped it for one with leather inserts; I'm pretty sure I found it on Ebay for about £12.
