Well I've just made sure I used the last remains tread on my R888 before my new boots get fitted tomorrow

Glorious day, and even made a pit stop at the Warwickshire & West Midlands TVR meet

Raised a few eye brows parking the wee beastie amoungst all the high polished tiv's lol

Best comment of the day........"errrrrr that's not a 280i is it"

It's my 8th tvr and I have to say tony the attention she gets is off the chart. At the meet as well as the public, people at traffic lights winding windows down to get a better listen (which I duly blipped the throttle)

Still getting used to the torque, had a slight moment going into 2nd gear as I left the club meet, slight damp patch and rear twitch lol

She's going to be a right treat smile

Thats the downside of the 888's not too good when cold, awesome when warm though! It was a very strange feeling watching and hearing you drive the Beastie away last week, sad to see it go but also glad to see it go to an enthusiast who will fettle it back to sound health and carry on with the mods.
P.S when you go for a remap take the baffles with you and watch the power increase when you stick them back in...Bizarre

Hi Glen, Nice to put faces to names...

I was the 1st one at the meet to see you (Hear you)smile so I got to see all the cars arrive and to my ears yours for the win of loudest competition thumbup

I guessed the model right but quite a surprise when you lifted the bonnet eek

Quite a few faces of frowning and REALLY!!! expressions when you left laugh and you could be heard for probably a good mile away biggrin. Hope your neighbors are all Piston head nuts.

Nice to meet you Glen, till next time regards Jas (Blue Chimaera you parked next to)
