I talked with someone at LRParts. Although the engine would fit, the LS3 is a compact unit, there was too much uncertainty about a suitable gearbox.
Having read the article in this month's TVRCC's Sprint fitting a similar engine into a Griffith, I felt I made the right decision to have my RV8 rebuilt as the R&D to fit the LS3 would not be cost justified - probably up to £20,000 in total including labour.

Does sound a rather expensive way to go about more power. That money would buy a SEAC!
I bet it goes like an absolute rocket, but you would have to uprate so many other things too..just to cope with power. Brakes, clutch, gearbox maybe, etc.. Still, I admire the effort and would love to see it and hear it!
Anybody know the owner, I think it's in Denmark?
