Hi Peeps...Well while she is off being fiddled with i thought i would detail the plenum to match the rocker covers...There is still a tiny amount of snagging to do but i need to wait for the paint to cure first or it will just be an on-going thing..Had some gasket paper so made a new idle vale gasket, I didn't wind it out....Came out ok though....I know its just paint & Polish but i like it looking nice...Cheers...Ziga

BEFORE: Some minor rubbing down..

4 stages of grit later..

POLISHED:

Hi Neil...Good to see you on form..I mean forum..hehe

Well i was going to just clean up the throttle bracket or spray it black but i ran out of black...The idle control valve screws were as grubby as shyte and the plenum needs to go back Monday to be fitted..My intention was to go to a place in Dartford that sell every screw and bolt known to man or beast but I'm without a car and couldn't get a hire car due to the nice weather that is going to be here the weekend...So..The blood of jesus was used instead...Ziga

Funny you should say that because I find that the car drives a lot better when it's all polished up. With the amount of work Zig puts into his cars, polished both inside and out, I suppose it must glide along the road biggrin

Ditto. Looks great. Fancy an alternative full time job as Wedge detailler?

Thats the intention mate...Just want to see the longevity of the paint finish..There are a couple of alternatives....Including Powder coating....Also waiting to hear from a mate as regards to using his double garage...Cheers...Ziga
