Looks like ex Dickymints, but now in the hands of mikeb I seem to recall.

Not sure if Mike has on the road at present

Remember this at a rolling road with mine and it produced some very good figures for a 4.2, I think higher than my 4.5 did at 270 horsies

Bizarre that such a fine car should just be sitting there unused, needs rescuing.

That's right and I owned for it 9 years before Dickymint - there's a picture of it all nice and shiny on my profile. Shame to see it open to the elements and looking so dull. It's part Kevlar with rose jointed front suspension.

Pah! These red 420 SEAC's are common place. I was out with one today on a TVRCC drive.

(It did look and sound nice though).

Last I spoke to him he was so busy with work he hadn't had time to work on the car.

I know of a similar situation just up the road from me. There is a TVR Griff 500 sitting in someone's driveway that hasn't moved for years. There is moss growing on it big time. I knocked on the house door and an old lady answered and said it belongs to her son but that he is away and hasn't used the car for ages. I left her my phone number and told her I would like to buy the car as I am a TVR enthusiast and that I would pay him a good price. That was over a year ago and I haven't heard a thing. I am thinking at having another try in the hope of finding the owner, now that this has refreshed my enthusiasm. It's so sad to let such a great car go to waste, especially such a car as this early K Reg Griff which must be a pre cat model. Has anyone any more ideas as to how I can track this guy down for a swift purchase ???
