Call me mad or what - but I'm insuring my 21 year old son on TIVV , he proved his ability having owned
A Tiger Supercat E1 for the last 2 years without issue and having done track days and rally schools with him, he is probably a better driver than me.

But here is the crazy thing...

No specialist insurer would touch any one under 25 - but Admiral have accepted him on my multicar policy and the annual
Premium fully comp with all the bells and whistles is £££ - the correct guess gets bought a large beer at BBWF

Let's have some guesses...

£210? Mine's a cider!
Daren't let my lad know how much as all he talks about is "when I'm old enough can I drive your TVR?" I've told him it would cost £2k to insure him.

Nil. They have included him under your multi car insurance policy for no additional charge.

He would be upset by that - he actually has 4 years NCD - passed his test 10 days after 17th birthday and they included time on a provisional licence in the NCD

Ok. Since you say between 200 and 1000, I'll take the avrage of the two and put a figure on it at £600.
