What engine upgrade could you get in a 350i engine bay

Assume you mean non-RV8? Have you considered a blower?

LS has been done but is a lot of work. Easiest, cheapest and quickest is to put a bigger RV8 in it

IMHO the best approach is a 500i transplant see below



This is mine in the Gredge, ex Griff motor ex 450SE gearbox, biggest challenges are the Hotwire loom, coolant plumbing and electrics generally but well worth it with a tad under 300 BHp and 314 ft lbs more than enough power to catch you out!

Chris, you mentioned coolant plumbing as one of the big issues to tackle with your motor, is yours a pre serpentine rv8 or serpentine? How different is your plumbing to the original 350 set up then, I'd be keen to know how yours is plumbed, cheers for now,john.
