I was told the no 1 was white. could of been sprayed green or given a body transplant later though.

Sure this will be contended in a diplomatic way.

Think Andy has the first production 350i convertible and one of the press cars.I believe I have the very first prototype dh tasmin, but the body has been changed at some point because it has the flap over the fuel cap.

That's John Mleczek's car. John worked at the factory for 30 years and was a long-standing RO of Blackpool region.

John's father also worked for TVR and was one of the first people Trevor Wilkinson employed.

The final photo; on our way down to the NEC last year where both cars featured on the TVR stand.

Whoever buys the car will possibly have to collect it from John's house in Blackpool, so an instant Bristol Avenue photo opportunity! thumbup

Hi

As Howard said its John car, one of the 180 Series 1 cars built and this car was built in late 1983 and first reg in Jan 1984.

My car is the first production 350i made in July 1983 and there were 3 pre-production cars, one of which I have, there was a white pre-production car which was the car you see in all the early 350i adverts, this car is also still around which leaves the first pre-production car/prototype DH this car I don't know much about!

Andy
