OH MY JESUS H CHRIST , THATS MY OLD ONE . Oh no what have they done ?? Sob Sob Sob . That's chassis number 5 , Someone save it now, I am so upset , how could they do this ..........I will try to get it back . This person just has no heart , I am truly shocked. Was wondering who bought it from me from Brightwells, if I had known this s**t was going to happen I never in a million years would have sold it .............

Copy and past the web address from your brower into a post on here.

Alternatively give me a clue where to look.

wow that's genuinely sad - how could it end up like that ?

I do wonder though as the reg doesn't come up on DVLA enquiry any more so looks like its been officially scrapped ? I wonder where the engine etc has gone ?

It is a crying shame. Why would someone pay good money for a classic Wedge and then trash it in a year and sell it for parts? rage

Yes, unfortunatley, we are seeing this a lot, I have experienced this first hand, bought some bits off a nice bloke, who loves cars, but has a preference for making something different and took a really good wedge just for the chassis, engine and running gear.

This one is a shame also, not good to see cars go this way, there are too few of them to start with :@( sonar

Yes , it was a top notch engine re-machine work (blueprint jobby)on the original by DJE and rebuilt by me , also rebuilt the box . About £3500 worth . Raped it for the running gear for a st load of kit car probably . Should be put up against the wall and shot . Why not pick up an engine and box separately ?

My head is saying enough , but my heart is saying you must . When I bought it back in 2004/5 I rescued it from underneath a cinema , in a bad way , looks like I will be doing it again .

Maybe he used the parts off this Wedge to save another more important to him. Looks like he was after the drive train and wheels. Who knows? There may be a valid explanation.

THE OFFENCE = Wedge Rape
THE PUNISHMENT = A six inch nail hammered into each testicle.

While I can understand your upset (to put it mildly) at what's happened to "your" car, you sold it through an auction with no control over where or to who it went?

Ahh FFS!! banghead

What a dam waste of a cracking & rare TVR. All that needed was some cosmetics...

Hopefully they haven't gone & snipped wires etc requiring a rewire. rolleyes

Hi Mark, I just text my Nephiew. He works in DVLA & he's replied saying once it's been registered scrap there's no way of re regestering. Sorry boyo. That's a dam waste. furious

Don't know if it's worth contacting them & applying for a special case given the sound condition of the chassis & body etc.
