Hi everyone,

I have just bought the project 280i 2+2 that was in the classifieds a couple of weeks ago. After replacing the rotten tyres I have got it home today smile

Plenty of work to be doing, mainly the gearbox / clutch and electrics but I got it running after 3 hours with just some fresh fuel and a battery (after giving the engine a quick check over)

Boy is it loud!

No doubt many questions to come, hopefully will be back to its former glory by the end of the summer smile

If you are interested in some service parts for your 280 (oil and fuel filters, plugs etc)drop me a PM as I have some stuff I bought for my sadly departed 280

Welcome to the fold, enjoy it as we all enjoy ours despite the frustrations that go with it.
