New to the Wedge forum but more about my TVR past later.

My question to all you hardened Wedgers is what is a real nice 390SE or 400SE going to cost?

By real nice i mean something that is excellent bodily, very presentable inside and say would require nothing mechanically (known)that was going to let you down. Doesn't sound like a TVR i know but humor me.

I know there will be different views on this but i am looking for what i could pick one up for not what you would would want it to be worth;)

Oh and anyone got one?

Thanks Steve

I've seen that car at Track V Road in the flesh a few weeks ago, it's very nice.
Not the right colour for me personally
But still a beauty!

Yep, seen the one at Track V Road which is one of the reasons for my question. Nice car but not without requirement of some work to get to what i mean by real nice (in my mind anyway) and then there is the thick silver stripes which will require some getting use to.
I just wondered if a 390/400 needing nothing came up for sale what would the realistic sale price be today? and presumably private sale would be cheaper!

There have been a couple of really nice 400SE's (I'm thinking of Blaine's and Mark's dark silver one in particular) that have sold for £10k + recently. Does that help?

A real nice TVR is going to cost real loads of money. Like everything else you get what you pay for. Give us a clue on how much you really want to spend and we may be able to point you in the right direction, bearing in mind that real nice 3.9cc Wedges start at around 7k

Im sure that 390SE at Track V Road was nearer 10K last year..If you paid 7.5K for it then it would be a good price, A sorted 390SE would probably fetch a bit more, Probably nearer 8-9K ...A sorted 350i would probably go for around 5-7K but in fairness most will need something doing even if they are sorted as you may not like the colour of the seats or carpet and decide to change them..

Thanks guys,

your answering all the right suspicions. 7-9k would be my budget.

Hope to be sorted soon but want the right car, as we all do! With any luck be back on here soon as a new owner.
