Hi mark, I've gaz gold on mine and polys, its hard and stiff (as the actress said) Fine for spirited hoons but terrible around the broken roads in town. Mind I've a 280 so dont know what poppy would be like or any other v8 for that matter.

Probably the same mate...It feel's like cobblestones in most places in south London..I think the modern term is "Potholes"...marcus

Richard at RT racing should be able to advise you, I know he's selling Gaz shocks plus springs uprated.
A few years back I bought a set of protec shocks from him.
Give him a try why not.
I hope he's sorted the spring rates, lengths etc. by now; one of the guys up here bought a set a few years ago and the car was so high it looked like a Monster Truck.A few years back I bought a set of protec shocks from him.

Ideal for farm work and pot holes then, he obviously had some insider knowledge about the future of our tarmac roads!Wedg1e said:

I'll second that, mine looked like it had had the engine taken out it sat so high at the front. I ended up having the original springs shotblasted and powdercoated and put them back on.Wedg1e said:

I've done that myself: tell you what, sandblasting a coil spring must be one of the most tedious tasks known to man!
