This is sitting in traffic on a warm day.
Is 90 where the needle is now, or the line just above the needle?

It's where the needle is, otherwise the "90" would be further up the dial opposite the line. Mine runs around that mark, cycling up to the line and slightly over until the fan kicks in and brings the temp below the line again.

That is a healthy temperature for a V8 Wedge sitting in traffic.

Very healthy...Mine sits just under the line..If i remember to switch the fan on..It only has a manual override..Ziga

If that's as high the needle gets, or as hot in traffic...I would say you have a healthy cooling system.
