Got the old girl a little higher, amazing what you can do with a small scissor jack and determination :-)

Today's progress

(On tge last pic any one know what the block is at the top of the rear spring, between the sping and chassis, its actually a block of wood......why???)

Probably to stop the suspension mount from bending?...Ziga

Yup both sides exactly the same. Almost as though its got shorter springs and they are spacers?

I have seen extra packing above the spring mounting to even out an uneven chassis, so the body looks level. But the wood there may be an attempt at rasing the ride heigth of the car using it as a spacer as you thought.
Or something similar!
