Help!i have been pulling relays out to see why indicators don't work and now i have another problem!!!!!!!!!Car will start and run for about 10 secs before it cuts out.Have not touched ECU and put back relays exactly how i found them.I remember someone had similar problem will have to look back at old forums. If there is anyone who can shed some light on my problem would be grateful. This is not a good start to my day! This car is 350i series1

Try re-plugging the multi-plug on the ECU.
On mine (series 2 350) the ECU and relays are in the passenger foot well. So playing with relays may disturb the ECU plug.
I believe the series 1's have the relays on the rhs inner wing so this might not be relevant to you.

When I bought my car at the start of the year it would start then refuse to idle after a couple of minutes. The problem was solved by replacing the temp sensor which feeds coolant temp ( I think !) to the ECU, this is located right side of the engine ( looking rear) at the front on top of the head, next to another temp sensor. The part number is LETC8496 from landrover and is about £12. Hope this helps.

Just about any Landie or 4X4 dealer will stock them.
