Can I just say even with the body off getting the calipers off was a right pain in the back side

Off now and ready to be sent to big red in Worcester for a refurb

Tell me about it. Just put mine back on this weekend after doing a refurb on them. I could probably get a job in a circus now after the contortions I managed to get myself in.

I've just refurbished my handbrake calipers. Fortunately the bolts for them are relatively accessible. It's the prongs for the springs which can be awkward.

All done now though and working much better.

Glen

I had mine done by Big Red and was very pease with the service. However at that time they didn't offer a service to clean and referb the piggy back handbrake calipers. Not sure if they do now.

I did find a Jag spares online site which was offering refurbed piggy backs for about 25 quid if memory serves?

It's easier if you take the handbrake calipers off first...
