As above.

Is it as simple as disconnecting either end and Hosing or pressure washer doing ?

Think I may have a build up of crud so want to start anew

cheers

its best to reverse flush with a hose both the rad, and heater rad.
I would not use a pressure washer though, just a normal mains feed hose.

You might want to take the 'stat out if you are going to flush with cold mains water.

Use mains water with a hose and a rag, take off the bottom hose at the rad end and pack the hosepipe into the bottom hose with the rag then turn on the water slowly bit by bit and run it until the water comes out of the bottom of the rad clear.

Reconnect and run the engine until it gets to normal temperature then turn it off and feel the radiator for any cold bits (if there are then you need more than just a flush).

Disconnect the bottom hose and repeat in reverse (i.e. put the hosepipe into the bottom of the rad).

Then reconnect and fill up with clean antifreeze at the right concentration.

Oh, and Gavin, don't forget to shake your hose after you flush.
