Dash lights.

Anyone done or remember who converted the fibre optic system to LED, as need to do this on friends car, as it looks like its been chopped out or eaten by mice.

Also a few of the bulb holders for the clocks have had the wires pulled out, so if anyone has any spare I'll be interested.

Hi Leigh...A little while back..(Thanks for reminding me)..I was going to upgrade the small 5w illumination bulb for a small bayonet style LED...I found this on a Jag forum which is where the fibre optic illuminator came from.

I did find some push fit LED's in America and was going to order some but clean forgot...I will see if i can find the site again..Hope this helps...It was a disk of small LED's that they used but had cut the excess off around the edge....Cheers...Ziga

The plan was to put small led into each switch and remove all the fibre optic stuff.

Oh right...That sounds like a right mission...I upgraded the rocker switches in Delilah as it was getting harder to find the originals at the time...Ziga

Yep this is on my list to do aswell - I have already removed the fibre optic unit - will experiment with some different LED's , can't be that difficult ...

just finished doing mine to LED's ... see previous threads.
a few pictures posted too.

Was dead easy .... picked up the led's off ebay, and just wired them in parralel with enough tail to reach all the switches.
