Hi mate...Most of the time the dash..Door cards..Arm rests..Centre console are vinyl..Even the seats are predominantly vinyl with leather faces..Unless someone has re-upholstered it in leather..Which is NOT cheap..
Leather should be carefully cleaned..Firstly leather and vinyl should be cleaned with a mild soap solution/Warm water and then patted with a clean towel to aid drying..Seat's should be hoovered first to remove particles..
Once fully dried the leather can then be cleaned further with a leather cleaner...Do not use a combined cleaner conditioner..Be liberal around scuffs as you can potentially make them worst..Once cleaned..Feed and then condition the leather..You can buy vinyl revivers but its a nonporous material so its best just using soapy warm water...
Auto-smart are a good product..Quite a few connollisers use their products...Ziga

Ahh wasn't there a factory option - half leather (dash and door panels vinyl) or full leather?
My 400SX is half (at least the dash is vinyl) but I bought a leather dash to replace it, one day I'll get round to it.
As for renovating I like Woolstenholmes stuff to re-connelise and then seal the paint over.

From memory half leather was standard on the 390's and most were spec'd with full leather. I saw this one in TvR last year and pretty sure it was full leather. Personally I use Gliptone products to clean and condition.
Mine has mostly leather with only the backs of the seats in vinyl.Even the parcel shelf speaker panels, the footwell heater duct covers, radio console and the roof lining are leather! I suspect it's been partially retrimmed at some stage mind you; the centre console has no stitching whatsoever on it - and the seats have been re-dyed as you can see the swirls from the cloth. I've tried using leather feeds etc. but the leather on the seat bases is very hard, almost brittle, especially in winter.
Still, plenty of things to fix before I get around to that...

There was the option of full leather or half leather on the 390s, in fact they let me go for a black/grey mix as long as I chose the standard seams.
I had black on the dash and door tops (to cut down reflections) and black in the centre of the seat, grey elsewhere.
I have not confirmed if the seat back is leather or vinyl but it is a case of OSOM.
