it would possibly appear the dealer is trying to pull a fast one. Its up in 3 separate places at 7k but on the phone when I confronted him - he said its 5K sold as seen with overheating problems.

Cant quite understand why he just doesn't sort the head gasket/overheating problem out? If he's a business then to strip, skim and put the heads back together can easily be done for way less than £2k. Sounds somewhat odd to me....
