BBWF 2014 Volunteers needed.
Discussion
Hi peeps...Just got off the phone after speaking with John Clancy...John is the guy who is coming to film the fest and create a DVD which will be available internationally as well as nationally.
John has made various classic car DVD's..His passion is TR7/8 but holds a passion for all classic cars..Predominantly British by build and design.
John would like some volunteers to talk about their cars so that the DVD involves the history..The cars and its owners, I would also like to involve the fest guests to give some of their experiences from their TVR days...Overall the DVD will capture the essence of TVR history and ownership and should make for a good watch.
So if you wish to take part in any interviews then let me know so that i can help John to create a bit of prosperity for us all to enjoy...
Here is a link to the TR7 DVD john made..Some of you may of seen this already...(Just imagine Wedges, Although they are wedges).....Cheers...Ziga

I will also need some volunteers for certain things over the weekend of the fest..I will post up soon as regards to that...Cheers...Ziga

Mark despite being a relatively. new Wedgist I'm happy to give my view and total bonkers and fun experience of owning one. Happy to help out on the day with anything you need. You're doing a great job and having not been to one before I was amazed at the numbers that have committed to turn up on the day, given the fact that there's so few actually on the road and being used. I for one am extremely excited for the weekend. A great opportunity to see how a tidy one should be put together. Cheers.
Good to hear that a DVD is going to be made of this years BBWF event, as a owner of both a TR7 and a Tasmin and having seen Johns work it should be a cracking video, it will need input from owners there, but your a friendly lot and i am sure on the day people will always want to talk about there pride and joy so i do not see any problems there, and it will be great to see and hear all that v8 power on DVD. Also although its a DVD on the 2014 fest its timeless so i would have thought it could be sold at future BBWFs for years to come as well as the usual t-shirts and mugs. i would love to be in it myself especially as there are not that many 280is there but sadly my cars are either being restored or not working so i wont be with a TVR this year.
Hi folks...I would like a definite on these points of help..
1. I will need two people for the DB challenge as it needs one to operate the meter and another to write the figures down, It can be done with one....Pen and BBWF clipboard supplied.
2. A few people to help at the welcome point...Giving out the free mugs and programmes...
3. Someone to help me in the main gazebo completing the shirt & Cap orders and collecting the "On the day Wedge Personality nominations".
4. Someone to help marshall the cars in...No particular colour or model this year so you can just park where ever..However it would be nice to have any specials in one area..Prototype...Supercharged..And i was thinking of a "Modified section"...But thats up to you.
5. Someone to help on the Auto-jumble.
6. Someone to help serving tea & coffee..I tried to get a good price this year but they won't budge under 1.50 for a cup...
..No money for charity will be raised from that unless you want to pay £2.00 for a cuppa...Bit extortionate really!
7. Someone to help out for the evening....Auction/Raffle/Prize/award giving..And some technical help for the music and projector.
And lastly...
8. Someone to get pi55ed with....

A point was made to me and its a valued one...At that price they can serve it themselves..However i may need someone who isn't going to the museum to maybe do a sandwich run for those who haven't brought anything with them as trying to sort food at a good price and it being worth it from the hotel is not easy...In fact neigh on impossible!!!...
Mark, happy to help wherever but one from items 1,2,3,5 & 8 would be preference but I do need to fit in the rolling road and museum run also.
Aiming to be at the hotel for 8.00am with gazebo. Presume I'll ask at reception for you if you're not outside in the car park?
7 sleeps to the Saturday as the kids would say.
