This car used to belong to a neighbour of mine, he was the 1st owner but didn't have the car roadworthy when I saw it in the 90's. There was a thread on here some years back when it was offered for sale in Holland. It was the car that first got me into TVR. I think it may have been the 1st of the V8 2+2s. Good to hear that someone's got it running again.http://www.tvr-webmart.co.uk/tvr_full_advert.asp?a...
I owned that car together with a friend about 8 years ago. really special car. it is the first 2+2 V8 produced by TVR specially ordered by a proffessor in chemistry at the university of Cambridge. his name is mentioned on a brass plate on the glove compartment. I spoke to the smart man and he added some nice ECU improvements like a adjustable "power " and "boost" knob on the ECU which really worked.
I really like to buy it back but unfortunately I started a very similar project. A 2+2 Trident Clipper converted with Tamora chassis and suspension and 2008 Ford V8 Alloy 500hp engine.
back to the 2+2 V8 TVR……..buy it .
