The fact that it's SORN puts me off. I mean, who puts a car up for sale that can't be test driven? Which then makes me think, is there something wrong with it?

Nothing wrong with it as far as I know. I know the guy who's selling it. He's a bit of a collector and restorer but doesn't drive them very often?

He had four 400se's until resently has just sold one long term one to a freind of his. He bought the white on last year as a keeper but has now desired he wants to do a full resto on the red on he's has. So he's selling the other two.

He also has plans for another Griff.

He offered me the white one a few weeks back. Very low mileage. Sounded great. Had the best condition interior I'd seen but to be honest not my colour (interior not exterior) It has been painted a pearl white some time ago. With a fresh coat of paint it could be a very very nice car.

I hadn't got the money to throw at it and then paint it so desired to stick with my yellow 350i.

The new owner bought the car recently, and guess what? It doesn't fit! So he's selling it for a couple of grand more! Pull the other one!!!

How the hell can someone not fit in a Wedge ?
im 18 Stone & 5"10 and I fit easily in the car .. I cannot put the seat right back because of the rollbar.
My Father is only 5"6 and almost half my weight and again can drive the car easily.

Equally, I know people that are well over 6" and are able to drive (with the roof on or off) with no problems.

Sounds like Bull just to make the advert sound credible (My Opinion of course !)
