Hi Peeps...Last year i was trying to arrange a photo-shoot for a calendar which features Wedge's with jets that were either in service or built the same year as your P&J...
The front cover will feature a Wedge "V" formation in front of the Vulcan Bomber..Two months of the calendar would ideally commemorate WW1 and WW2 with planes from that era.

I have been given a date of the 20th June 2014 by Robin hood Airport, Doncaster and the organiser wants to make a day of it and is really looking forward to it.

Is this date good for you, I would like Wedge models from 200's - Seac inc prototypes and hopefully the White Elephant.

If this date is no good then it can be re-arranged but there will be nothing available in July...

Some pictures may have to be taken at say..Duxford or Bruntingthorpe or somewhere where they house particular jets/Planes....

I did have some people put their names down for it but can't find the old thread at the minute but if you or anyone else is up for it then let me know please.

Initially we only need 13 Wedges but if it ends up with more or even double then thats no problem as the monthly pics will be grouped.

Please be aware though that a calendar shoot can take hours even if its planned out beforehand....The BNG 2012 calendar with girls took around 5-6 hours if i remember and that just involved two lovely girls and 14 Wedges....biggrin

Cheers...Ziga

I really want to do this but the 20th of June is a definite no from me, I am working 12hrs in hull that day, and with being away for LeMans I wont be able to swap shifts to clear it.

Wow you know your shifts a full 13 months in advance - impressive!

Donny might be a bit far for me but if there's any chance of Duxford I can deffo make that.

They have some nice hardware out on the apron, some around the same era as the wedges.

Hi Adam...I got in contact with them last year but they didn't seem to keen on getting back to me so i relaxed the enquiries..But yes they do house some impressive and iconic aircraft..They have a good selection of really early WW1 planes.. The de haviland for starters....I will get on their case again...Cheers...Ziga
