the first pic is of andy tanks 420se and I thought andys car was the one that got band

Correct, Andys is the official TVR race car as raced in the 80s by Steve Cole.

Hi Dave if your able to zoom in bud you can see in all the pictures that they all include external door hinges so as mentioned this car was run by David Gerald back in the day and would think they can help with the history of this 420 racer...

just had a look on the seac pages and there are pics of andys racer with exsternal hinges also in 1991 geralds had the seac racer and the 390 racer for sale that's when jeff bought the seac and restored it something not right

I followed the SEAC during the season with the factory racing and it's ongoing evolution. An error on the part of the SEAC pages where the DG racer has been slotted in there in error...IMHO.

From memory it was owned by David Gray in Scotland (who's since passed away :-(

All interesting old stuff...Sadly, I even get caught in the picture (Donnington park pit lane picture Peter Dron one)... sitting with Martin Shaw, who attended almost all of the races in that period.
