Had a bit of a search, but cant find an answer to the following:

I need to replace the brake fluid in my wedge, how much brake fluid does it take? Brakes are standard with no mods.

Also, i don't have the facilities to get all 4 wheels off the ground at once, is bleeding it with the rear or front raised independently OK, or do i need to contort myself to get at the bleed nipples with the wheels still on if it needs to be flat and level?

Cheers!

Amount of fluid depends upon how long you leave the nipples open for. Recently rebuild calipers and bled my system using an Easibleed kit, which I highly recommend. Uses tyre pressure to force the fluid through and is a one person operation, so wife wasn't disturbed. I bled the back first, then did the front furthest from reservoir and then finally nearest. I used 500ml of fluid. I kept bleeding until no more air came out. I did do a short bleed, then stamped on the pedal a few times and then bled again and a little more air came out. Pedal is now rock solid.

Doesn't hold that much brake fluid, a litre will be more than enough.

The car doesn't need to be level to bleed them either. Start bleeding from the back, there's only 1 bleed nipple at the rear - accessible when you take the passenger side wheel off. Then do the passenger front and the wheel nearest the master cylinder i.e. the drivers side front, last.
