Please raise a glass at Wedgefest

With a heavy heart I have to say Ill not be able to attend this years Wedgefest.

I bury my Father on Friday and dont think Ill be in any state to come up, even for the day.

Could you have a little 'toast' to his memory, and all Dads past and present at some point in the evening if its fitting?

My Dads health has been a concern for a while but he plods on thankfully

I also can't make the Fest this year but will be thinking about you
- and also the guys enjoying themselves at the Fest!!!!

Had to leave my Wedge in France last week due to breakdown on our trackday in Abbeville
At least I had European cover already in my RH Classic Car insurance
that got us back in rental cars and ferry - and brings the car back in the next few weeks on a transporter

Condolences... I know the feeling, as many of us do no doubt.. I lost my father 3 years ago, he was 58.

Same here ... I was hoping to attend and have the TVR back on the road. Sadly im stuck in Portugal with work and wont be back intime.

Im going to be in Blackpool on Wed Next week, and intend to drive past Blackpool Road. I shall ofcourse have a tear in my eye.

Have a great Fest everyone ... Ill be concentrating on getting the 400SE back in time for 2015 (or whenever the next meeting is going to be).
