To break or not to break..

Hey guys,
I’ve been offered a 80’s TVR Tasmin 2.8 carby and I’m just wondering should I break it for spares, then what parts are of interest or screw it back together and sell it on as a resto… the cars been standing a good few years but the interior and body panels are all complete and good..
Any pointers very welcome as it’s the first TVR I’ve looked at / about to own…
Its grey with pinstripe and blue leather interior. Only the wheels are long gone (now on ford escort – I think rims) so if anyone can also tell me what would fit…

It is a difficult thing when offered a "box of bits", or a car that is not all in one peice.
Ideally every one would be put back together and lovingly restored, but it is not always that easy.
It does depend on the condition of the car, for example what state is the Chassis in?
Do you know where it falls in the production run (got a chassis Number?) if its very early or very late in the run that MIGHT make it more viable/interesting as a restoration project.
As is often the case you'll probably get a little more for it as parts than you would as a restoration project, however its not purely an economic descision?
I'd personally sell it as a project and let someone bring it back to life. (IF you can't do that yourself?)
