Thought I'd check out what the buyanycar websites would offer on my 390SE and surprise, surprise "we can't find your car on our database". Oldest Tiv listed is Cerbera.

Just thought you'd like to know! Carry on...getmecoat

Slightly off topic, but I recently did a text check thingy on the Tuscan I just bought and it valued it at 4-6k and with and average mileage of 150k.

These sites don't like anything out of the norm

I didn't think they needed to find it on the database. From an Aston Martin to a Mini the price is always the same, £50. biggrin

Actually, I think I'll rephrase that. It's usually 10k over the phone and £50 when you get there.

I dont know anyone who has had a reasonable offer for any car from these clowns, you have got to be desperate to get rid to use them.

Slightly off the TVR topic but..
One of my mates used one of them to sell a Ford Ka - dents on every panel etc, fairly grubby interior... but ran well (he made the site aware of condition etc).

He was only after a couple of hundred for it.. they offered him £300 which he accepted, and the guy came 100+ miles to collect with a flatbed within a couple of days of deal being done.

He was rather impressed..

This being said.. I did get a quote from one for my Honda Civic ( before buying my Celica ) and I nearly cried at the amount they offered.. - dont think I would ever use them..

They seem to only deal in ste.

When I turned with a clean car and suggested I wanted a good offer for it, they weren't interested.

The bloke was an absolute dick. Smarmy wideboy attitude.
